A arte Invernizzi presents at Arte Fiera Bologna 2025 an exhibition articulated in sections with significant works by Italian and international artists of different generations represented by the gallery.

Günter Umberg’s monochromes, which live on the wall as totally independent presences, achieving an effect of strong density and saturation given by the intensity and purity of the pigment are placed in relation to the work Double sens n° 1, 2012 by François Morellet presented on the occasion of the gallery’s 30th anniversary in its last solo exhibition and to the works of the series “Triangle Paintings” by Alan Charlton, who achieves a zeroing of all expressive features by using grey as the only colour in his research.
The “Total Space” series by Mario Nigro combines the distorting expressive component in the tonal gradations of the background and of the expanding grids with the rhythmicality that underpins their mutual relationships.
In his works Riccardo De Marchi, through the use of perforation, creates a continuous contrast between presence and absence. The artist repeatedly brings to bear different ways of seeing, partly depending on the material used, as we see in the recent works in in satin stainless steel and stainless steel mirror.
In his recent works from the series “Orizzontaleverticale” Nelio Sonego varies the thickness of the canvas and the peripheral space acquires greater optical significance, shifting the boundaries in the relationship between trace and space.
Finally, one section will be devoted to works by Carlo Ciussi, characterized by sinuous, flowing lines crossing the pictorial surface. The gallery will open its next solo exhibition on February 25th with a focus devoted precisely to this pictorial cycle.
